Weather Pack

Aptiv Weather Pack, formerly known as Delphi or Delphi Packard Weatherpack, are popular wire connectors most commonly used in automotive applications. These connectors have an environmental seal that protects against moisture, dirt, and dust. Weather Pack Connectors are built to withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, harsh engine compartment fluids and chemicals. These features make them ideal for use in most heavy equipment, industrial, automotive, and marine applications.

The male and female connectors lock together with dual-lock tangs to secure terminals firmly into the connector housing. This tight connection ensures strong electrical conductivity. Weather Pack connectors are made of a self-lubricating silicone and are multi-ribbed to prevent moisture and contaminants from entering and compromising the connector.

CAVITIES: 2, 3, and 4

AWG: 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20

TEMPERATURE RANGE: -40°F (-40°C) to 257°F (125°C)

Types of Weather Pack Connectors

In-line Connections: An in-line connection consists of a shroud connector housing male terminals mated to a tower connector assembly housing female terminals.

Panel-mount Connections: A panel-mount connection consists of a tower connector assembly housing male terminals mated to a device housing female terminals.

Typical Applications

Weather Pack proven harsh environmentally sealed components can be utilized in both in-line and panel- mount applications. They are ideally suited for use in harsh environments where resistance to temperature extremes, chemicals and fluids are a must like with commercial vehicle and marine applications.
