Xspot uses extra-strength magnets in both the Xspot device and the XLocators tools. Xspots devices have prongs that snap-in and securely hold the wires to your exact location. The XLocator tools use reverse polarity to confirm the location and magnetic fields to give you the location accurate to ¼ inch every time. Xspot is easy to use and requires no special skills or experience.

About Xspot Products

Xspot Products was invented by Mark Sipe, a veteran low voltage contractor, who wanted to resolve the high cost and inefficiency of wiring homes. The issue peaked on a 14,000 square foot job where the sheet-rocker had buried dozens of wires requiring three days of labor to tone out the wire locations. This is when the idea of Xspot began. Xspot Products now holds multiple patents both in the US and Internationally under its parent company, Prime Industrial Design llc.

Alpha: The Alpha wire endpoint device is a universal solution with applications ranging from speakers, cameras, lighting, control, video, thermostats, security and more. Alpha endpoints are found within a couple of minutes, accurate to 1/4 inch and with gentle use are re-usable.

Groove: The Groove wire endpoint device IS designed to mount into solid wood framing, walls, and ceilings - ideal for motorized blinds, doorbells and security sensors. The Groove is located within seconds, accurate to 1/4 inch. All Xspot endpoints are re-usable.

Profile: Profile wire endpoint device is designed to place wires in small spaces, down to 1/2 inch. The Profile is ideal for in-ceiling LED Lighting enabling precise placement and the flexibility to select your fixture later.

Strap: The Xspot Strap is a universal mounting option for speakers, lighting, security, control and more. Use the Strap to span wide areas, fit into corners or line up with other technology.

Smooth: The new Smooth mounts an Alpha into exterior siding that requires a smooth finish perfect for Cameras that require a small hole. Finish the hole with the Xspot Grommet for a professional fit and finish.

Edge: Edge bracket is perfect for mounting cameras into stucco on exterior walls. Works with the Alpha endpoint.

Steel: The Steel bracket mounts the Alpha endpoint device into steel studs.

Cover Plate Single: Cover Plate Single mounts the Groove endpoint device onto a single gang metal box.

Cover Plate 4Square Double: Cover Plate 4Square Double mounts the Groove endpoint device onto a 4 square or double gang metal box.

Cover Plate Octagonal: Cover Plate Octagonal mounts the Groove endpoint device onto a octagonal metal box.

Ring: The Ring is used to mount the Alpha endpoint device for any technology that Trims out to a single gang box. The Ring can also provide a buried conduit location allowing you to pull the wires later.

Slackbox Bubble: Slackbox Bubble holds up to 8 inches of wire, screwing into the framing and protecting wires from spray foam insulation. Ideal for motorized blinds, and security.

Slackbox Six: Slackbox Six is an innovative solution to protect your wires from spray foam insulation. The Slackbox Six hangs on an Xspot Strap allowing wire to be coiled inside the box keeping your wires clean and easily pulled out later for Trim.

Xtreme Locator Tools: The Xtreme Locator tool set include one each 78 lb pull deep sensing tool and one centering tool which finds the Xspot in minutes accurate to 1/4 inch.
