Not Every application will have enough wires to fill every cavity in an AMPSEAL connector. When this is the case, your assembly is not environmentally sealed which can cause damage to your connectors and the electrical components attached to them. To solve this problem, Ampseal sealing plugs can be used to close up unused cavities creating a seal against dirt, dust and moisture. Available in both normal and reduced diameter seal sizes, These simple plugs will ensure your connectors will be protected even in harsh environmental conditions.
